How to spot a False Prophet or Charlatan among Protestant Christians

Speaking in ecstatic gibberish is a very common practice in my country. And this is a matter which must be settled. The original understanding of speaking in tongues is that those with strong faith and the gifts of the spirit may at times be capable of speaking a foreign language they have not learned. There is a different belief now where people shout gibberish when in emotionally charged trance states, most often when entering trance as a group. I will not say that it is wrong to do this, but it is wrong to call it speaking in tongues or call it a prophecy. Because it is a consequence of a cultural practice and not what they have ascribed it to.

Often, false prophets will cover their sins with this practice. Because they will claim to interpret it, or will spew it themselves, and a partner will interpret, but the one interpreting it is the one speaking as they wish, to manipulate the onlookers. And such things are not from our Father, His Spirit, or His Word. With this practice, a false prophet can cover their sin when their prophecy fails, because he can say that it was mis-heard, and deflect blame. This is copying from the Oracle of Delphi.

Those who believe should avoid such charlatans. If someone uses this, they ought to be the ones who speak, and it should be written what they said, and it should be tested for accuracy. A true prophet has no fear of being tested. And in all matters, God knows best to whom He speaks.

Additionally, be skeptical of those who use music and pre-determined words, and changing volumes and frequencies of sound and levels of light and oxygen to manipulate the congregation. They manipulate oxygen by turning off the ventilation and closing doors. The oxygen levels drop because of everyone breathing in a confined space. They copy the methods of hypnotists to manipulate the crowd and give them a sensation of euphoria, then say that it was proof of God being present with them. They build everyone up into a frenzy and suddenly cut the music. So then they play soft music and speak quietly, and may ask you to close your eyes. They may count. They may ask you to imagine something. This is hypnosis induction without asking your permission first. It is highly unethical on multiple levels. Usually once they are done with the moment, they ask for money. While you feel euphoric. So that you are less likely to think critically and consider your expenses. Do not be deceived by such trickery.

They conspire in private to plan their choreography and performances, but God sees them, though they think they are away from prying eyes. God can see the filth of deceit in their hearts, that which they hide behind expensive clothes. They practice witchcraft and call it ministry. They are shearing the wool of a flock which does not belong to them while pretending at being shepherds. And I hope that they admit their wrongs and repent of them, but the arrogant seldom repent or admit their faults.

This was shown to me in visions of their conspiracies and practices, with reminders of what I witnessed in my youth.
